Most memorable CA trophy: In 2003 I was pursuing a dream. I was attempting to take the California slam, recognized by the California Bowman Hunters Organization. The last species I needed was the Mule deer. I had backpacked 8 miles into a Wilderness area in the Sierras. On the fifth day I stalked in on a bedded non typical buck and made one of the best shots of my life to put that beautiful buck down. I still remember that feeling of accomplishment as it still drives my passion today.
Motto: Quit talking about it and just do it. I found out years ago that you must pursue your goals or they will just become dreams.
